Insurance & Billing

POM is a fee-for-service practice. We are not in network with any insurance and do not bill insurance directly. This model allows us to focus entirely on your oral health without the constraints of insurance quotas, pre-authorizations, or production targets.

If You Have Dental Insurance

If you have a PPO plan, we’re happy to provide you with a superbill after your visit so you can submit for possible reimbursement from your insurance provider. The superbill includes all the codes and information your insurance company needs.

You’re also welcome to submit your receipts to your FSA or HSA account for reimbursement.

Why We Chose This Model

Traditional insurance-based dental practices often face constraints that don’t always benefit the patient. This can include time-limited visits driven by production quotas, treatment decisions shaped by coverage rules, and billing complexity. By stepping outside that system, we can offer:

  • Clinical decisions made for your health, not insurance limits
  • More time with each patient at every visit
  • Straightforward, upfront pricing with no hidden fees
  • No pre-authorizations, no claim disputes, no surprises

Transparent Pricing

At POM, you’ll always know exactly what to expect. We keep things simple, honest, and straightforward: no hidden fees, no unexpected add-ons, and absolutely no upselling.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards and FSA/HSA cards. A credit card on file is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

A $50 cancellation fee applies if an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours prior, a no-show occurs, or you arrive more than 15 minutes past your appointment time. Read more about our cancellation policy.
