How it compares to drugstore strips
Over-the-counter strips use lower-concentration gel and rely on adhesive contact with teeth. Take-home kits use higher-concentration gel applied with custom-fit trays, which means more even coverage, better contact with enamel, and noticeably stronger results — all without the time investment of in-office whitening.

Important to know
Take-home whitening works only on natural tooth enamel — crowns, veneers, and fillings won’t change shade. Some patients experience temporary sensitivity, which usually resolves within 24-48 hours.
